Strand West is a wide beach, located in the Westerpark neighborhood, at Houthavens. The 20.000 square metres beach offers excellent sunbathing opportunities, and beautiful panoramic views on the water of the IJmeer. No swimming.

Strand West is both a locals and a visitors favorite. Ideal to relax in the summer, you can play beach games here, or relax with your friends, sipping cocktails or eating delicious tapas at the local terrace. Excellent entertainment, and club events in the evening. The venue is also a weddings' favorite and can be employed for meetings and conferences as well.
