Description

This waterfront 17th-century admiralty building is home to a marvelous presentation of maritime memorabilia. Come explore imaginatively displayed Golden Age maps, 19th-century photographs of historic voyages, and a virtual journey that takes you on a ship-like experience. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained! You can even climb aboard a full-scale replica of the 700-tonne Amsterdam – part of the Dutch East India Company fleet – complete with small bunks and sailors' hammocks. The Royal Barge, also located here, is a sight to behold.
