Description

Located just north of Westerpark, the remarkable 1921 housing project designed by Michel de Klerk for railway employees is a shining example of Amsterdam School architecture. Shaped like a ship with a rocket-like tower connecting the wings of the complex, the triangular building is a sight to behold. Visitors can take a 45-minute guided tour of the building, with English tours running at 3pm and potentially other times as well.
