Name to honor local poet and lawyer Johannes Kinker, Kinkerstraat is a street in Amsterdam West, in the Kinkerbuurt neighborhood. It is mainly a residential street, with several cafes and shops.

Not far from Kinkerstraat, you will find the popular market at Ten Katestraat. The market is open most days of the week, except on Sundays. Another attraction in this area is De Hallen Amsterdam, in the former tram depot Tollensstraat.
