Description
A glass house for exhibiting artwork in Amstelpark
Glazen Huis or the Glass House was erected in 1972 as a show house for the work of local graphic artists. This showcase structure is in the middle of a park in Zuideramstel, a suburban district. The exhibits in this see-through building are updated frequently.
Glazen Huis with its art exhibitions is just one of the attractions at Amstelpark. There are playgrounds, miniature golf, and pony rides. Also there is a rose garden, a model plant nursery, and, at the far end of the park is the Rieker windmill. In the summer, guests can tour the park aboard a miniature train.
