Cobra Museum

Sandbergplein 1. (Open Map)

It merits a visit to this secluded museum near the canal to see the knacks from the post-WWII CoBrA movement. The artworks, credited to the renowned Karel Appel, feature distinctive, childlike qualities and are enclosed in a luminous area, courtesy of Dutch architect Wim Quist. Moreover, its ceramic pieces, paintings and statues are marked with an avant-garde coloring, which truly gives it an edge.
