Description

At the Bible Museum housed in a 1622 canal house, visitors can experience an amazing collection of bibles, including a 1477-printed Delft Bible and a first edition of the 1637 Dutch authorised version. The star attraction of this museum, however, is the scale model of the Jewish Tabernacle that was described in Exodus. Built by dedicated minister Leendert Schouten, the model was completed in 1851 and has been drawing thousands of visitors ever since. A garden featuring trees and plants mentioned in the Good Book is also part of the museum.
