Floating pool with bar and terrace
BadBuiten is the first floating pool in the Netherlands. The pool floats on the Amstel river. The water is warmed at 25°C, and the strand is open every day from 12:00. Aside bathing and sunbathing, BadBuiten provides a large terrace with food and refreshments.
BadBuiten is only open April, May, June, July, August, and September - the warmest months in Amsterdam. If you visit BadBuiten with children, make sure they have a swimming certificate, or they may not swim without proper safety gears. Each season BadBuiten organizes sporting, cultural and social activities around the pool.
