Mainland Europe's oldest zoo offers visitors a chance to explore a beautiful landscape of leafy trees, wildlife and habitats. Along a picturesque stretch along the canal, visitors can catch sight of the historic Entrepot dock. African savannah and tropical rainforest habitats house reptiles, lions, jaguars, elephants, giraffes, and a number of primates. The complex also features an aquarium with coral reefs, shark tanks, and an Amsterdam canal view from a fish’s perspective, a planetarium, and a kid-friendly petting zoo.
